This is a photograph from E. A. Brown’s collection. It shows some of Mr F. Adam’s Scottish Pipers playing and marching at the parade ‘Children’s Corner’ before the arrival of H.R.H. the Prince of Wales, who was on a two-day visit to Singapore on 31 March and 1 April 1922. This event was held on the grounds opposite St Joseph’s Institution bounded by Queen Street, Bras Basah Road, Waterloo St. and Stamford Road. Date of creation estimated.
