About The Photograph
This is an undated photograph from E. A. Brown's collection. It shows a boy scout standing in front of a tent. The two white stripes on his shirt pocket indicate that he holds the rank of a patrol leader. The location is likely to be the Singapore Volunteer Corps (SVC) campsite in Siglap which the Scouts used for large annual camps in the 1920s. Date of creation estimated.
