The sky is the limit when it comes to journalling!

About the Programme

You don’t need a large collection of fancy art supplies to do visual journalling. In fact, you can create meaningful pages in your journal using upcycled materials.

In this hands-on session, you will learn about the benefits of visual journalling and practise some basic techniques. Join us and discover your own unique journalling style!

Please bring along the following materials:

  1. A pair of scissors
  2.  A bottle/tube of glue (any type of glue)
  3. Any unwanted paper materials (such as books, magazines, pictures, photos etc.)
  4. 4-5 pieces of A4 paper
  5. A pen

You may also wish to bring any of these optional materials:

  1. Writing/coloring instruments: pencils, color pencils, markers
  2. Paints: watercolours, acrylics

Admission is free and registration is required.

Trainer's Profile

Anne Chung is a cancer survivor of more than 12 years. Her first experience with journalling was when she attended a visual journal course at the Singapore Cancer Society in 2018. She has since passionately continued her journalling journey and is still constantly learning new and creative ways to journal. To date, she has completed more than 1,500 journal pages, i.e., an average of 1 page a day. To spread awareness of journalling and its benefits, Anne facilitated a visual journaling course at a senior activity centre.
