Our History
Originally located at the Sembawang Town Council building in Yishun Street 22, the Yishun Public Library was officially opened on 26 February 1998 by Associate Professor Ho Peng Kee, then Minister for Law & Home Affairs, Member of Parliament for Sembawang GRC. We relocated to Level 4 of the Northpoint City mall and the library reopened on 1 November 2008, officiated by Mr Khaw Boon Wan, then Minister. We took the opportunity and closed during this period to make improvements and the library was reopened on 3 February 2018 by Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, then Minister
