D.I.Y Club DIY 创意小组
Seniors
Formed on 23 Oct 2010, the DIY Club is organised by a group of volunteers who hold a deep interest in exploring and furthering their interest in a variety of crafts. Activities in the DIY Club include creating simple jewellery, beadings, recycled handicrafts and more! If you are keen to learn how to create different crafts, join the like-minded folks of the DIY Club!
Sessions are conducted in Mandarin.

Tampines Uke Jammers
Seniors
We are a group of ukulele enthusiasts who meets every first and third Friday of the month (on Zoom currently) to have a joyous jamming session together. This programme is suitable for those with prior knowledge of playing the instrument. Beginners are welcome too but please note that this is a jamming session without instructors.
Participants are required to bring along their own ukuleles and tuners.
For Seniors, conducted twice a month in English at Tampines Regional Library.
Uku Strummers
Seniors
Simple for its four strings, but packed with happy notes, the ukulele is exactly how life should be. Strum along to your favourite oldies at our ukulele jamming sessions with us!

Teens & Adults
Interested in building Gundams? Join our Gundam club and enjoy crafting your creation together. This programme is for adults as the usage of sharp tools is involved. Please bring your own kits and tools.

Woodlands Ukulele Jamming Club
Seniors
Strum and sing along to oldies. Woodlands Ukulele Jamming Club, a community of ukulele enthusiasts, invites you to join them once a month, either on the first or second Tuesday, at Woodlands Regional Library. This club is suitable for those who have a basic knowledge of the ukulele chords and simple strumming skills. Get your ukulele and tuner ready and jam along.
For those aged 50 years and above. These sessions will be conducted in English at Woodlands Regional Library.
Toy Photography Club
Adults
Have you ever heard of Toy photography? Toy photography is the art of storytelling using toys as the subjects. Club members will share their skills and techniques in creating the perfect shot with dioramas in this indoor photography session. Members are to bring their own cameras and toys to the session.
For Adults, conducted once every 2 months in English at Bishan Public Library.
Be Kind SG
Adults
CraftforGood is a bimonthly meetup session that allows members to meet and create craft items for the underserved.
For Adults, conducted once every two months in English, alternating between Chinatown Public Library and library@habourfront.
24 Hour Comics Day
Adults
24 Hour Comics Day usually happens on the 1st week of October, artists come together to take upon the challenge of creating 24 pages of comics in 24 hours.
The LXC continues engagement beyond the actual day by sharing their works on FB and exhibiting their works in libraries.

Vocal Village
Adults
Vocal Village is a group that aims to grow the a cappella community in Singapore through performances and knowledge sharing. They host community meetups (Aca Meets) on a quarterly basis at Voices of Singapore. Programmes with the library include workshops on different topics in a cappella (e.g. music arranging, vocal technique, beatboxing, etc.) and showcases (e.g. Beatbox Battles).
For Adults, conducted twice a month in English at the National Library Building (Victoria Street).
Let’s Dance
Seniors
Whether you are a beginner, a dance enthusiast or an experienced dancer, share in the joy of dancing with other like-minded seniors! With a new dance rotation every 4 sessions, explore new styles and movement during the learning community’s fortnightly sessions at Geylang East Public Library.
Read-Aloud Adventures
Children of 4-6 Years
Led by Evelyn Wong, a children's author. The LC will conduct interactive storytelling sessions in collaboration with like-minded authors, illustrators and creatives who are experienced storytellers. These sessions will feature local picture books to inspire greater appreciation for Singapore's multicultural landscape, as well as for the art of creating and performing stories.

The Crochet Club

We are a group of crochet enthusiasts who meet regularly to learn, share and enjoy crochet activities. Over the years, our group has evolved into a close-knit community where we learn from and inspire each other with new ideas, techniques and crafting experiences. We hope to increase awareness of members of public to crochet as a form of artistic therapy, promote lifelong learning and help preserve the art of crochet regardless of age.

Mama on Palette
Early Literacy/Adults
Mama on Palette is Singapore's first community for mothers who love arts. It provides all types of support to mothers who are passionate about arts, such as inspiring articles, artist features, art exhibitions, sharing sessions, and workshops. Now with 300 members and growing, Mama on Palette has collaborated with public libraries, NGOs, and private institutions for a variety of art exhibitions and workshops featuring mother and women artists in Singapore. It has been featured on Channel NewsAsia, The Straits Times, Lianhe Zaobao, Capital 958, and Channel 8, and recognised as a leading Ground up Movement (GUM) by Singapore Kindness Movement in 2021.
