About The Photograph
This is a portrait of Mr. Tham Sien Yen （谭显炎, left), Member of Force 136, and Mr. John Davis, British Military Officer. Mr. Tham became a businessman while Mr. Davis joined the Malayan Civil Service after the war. Force 136 was a British-led resistance group fighting the Japanese in Malaya during World War II.
