Information About
Basement In My Loft was formed at OOOM@SAM (Originals Only Open Mic at the Singapore Art Museum) in October 2009. Another songwriter, who liked the songs, approached Adrian Jones and became the drummer. At the next OOOM@SAM, the band found its bass player. They are between alternative, shoegazer and pop. The songs are very melodic and lyrical, with a dark feedback edge. Their influences are Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Teenage Fanclub (the earlier version), Husker Du, Dinosaur Jr, Nirvana.
