Information About

With lush live performances and compelling electronic compositions, The Analog Girl’s debut album “The TV Is On” caught the attention of sportswear giant Nike, which featured her music in their European advertising campaign “Changing the Game” in 2005. She was named one of TIME magazine’s 5 Music Acts to Watch in 2008, and is part of the rising musical movement of ‘laptop rock’. In 2011, she released the LP “Tonight Your Love”, which was listed as one of The Straits Times’ Best 20 albums of 2012. A dark, hypnotic blend of technology and artistry, The Analog Girl is a festival favourite, having performed for The People’s Party, Baybeats and the Spring Scream Music Festival in Taiwan. From showcasing in clubs to theatres, fashion shows and museums, her music is a constantly evolving artform, and she pushes the boundaries of her creative process with ever more evocative collaborations with other artistes. This includes partnering with the Cirque Electrique in Paris, providing the electro-pop backdrop to avant-garde circus acts as well as writing the soundtrack for silent animation The Adventures of Prince Achmed, a German classic from 1926. From a Chinese opera singer to a Portuguese rapper, The Analog Girl is anything but ordinary in her choice of collaborators, as befits her unique style of music.
