The National Library Board’s Asian Children’s Literature Collection is recognised by UNESCO as a nationally and internationally significant collection. Apart from presenting highlights of the 24,000-volume collection, Stories from Asia examines the literary and historical developments in children’s literature about Asians and Asia, covering such topics as the power of storytelling and imagination, the lure of Asian folktales, foreign perspectives of Asia as well as emerging children’s literature.
