KidsREAD, a nationwide reading programme that encourages a love for reading among children aged between 4 and 8 celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2020. The book was specially commissioned to mark this milestone.

When Mousedeer, Monkey and Squirrel wish for new bedtime stories, the last thing they expect is to be hit by a falling star. Their friend, Tortoise, takes it as a warning and proposes that they journey to Owl Town to ask Ora the Wise Old Owl for advice. What they discover there is a complete surprise – will the animals get their wish after all?
