Tenacity: Stories Built to Last in an anthology of 20 works of short fiction and four poems written by Singaporean and international writers. This unique collection commemorates the 10th anniversary of the National Library Board’s Read! Singapore campaign – an annual initiative begun in 2005 to promote reading among Singaporeans − by bringing together a selection of much loved stories and poems that have appeared in previous Read! Singapore anthologies. The stories celebrate Singapore’s cultural and linguistic diversity, with original works written in English as well as translations of stories originally written in Chinese, Malay and Tamil.
