A group of students from Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) will be collaborating with the National Library Board to bring you the S.T.A.R. programme!
Our student volunteers aim to guide the seniors in the community in how to:
- Set up Wireless@SG for free wifi
- Install and learn how to use 3 library apps: NLB Mobile app, OverDrive and PressReader
- Utilize free library resources: e-books, e-newpapers and e-magazines
Join us for free one-to-one consultation with the volunteers on how to use library apps and read books, newspapers and magazines in digital format. We will teach you how to skip the queue at the Book Borrowing Stations!
No registration required, and on a first-come-first-serve basis. Each session with a volunteer can last up to a maximum of 40min, depending on your queries.
Kindly note that for queries beyond NLB mobile and reading apps (PressReader, Overdrive and Libby), please seek professional assistance from the respective organisations and/or personnels outside the library.
