Read for Books is a special book donation drive in which for every 10 people who read for 15 minutes, 1 book will be donated to the children beneficiaries. This year, we are aiming to give 4,000 books to the Voluntary Children Homes and children from low-income families.

Join us on a guided tour to the Rare Gallery and do your part to raise books for the children by reading 15 minutes at the library. The exhibition features a selection of materials from the National Library’s collection that were produced during the period of the Malayan Campaign and the Japanese Occupation.
