This workshop is open to ALL participants aged 13 years and above, and is highly recommended for participants keen to participate in the SUTD 3D Printing and Design Innovation Challenge 2020.

In this introductory session, participants will gain an understanding of the 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing industry. They will also get to experience the entire object creation process using 3D Printing.

The session will cover the following topics: Overview of the Additive Manufacturing industry, Concept of 3D Printing, 3D Printing workflow, 3D Printing demonstration, Simple 3D Modelling with Fusion 360, and Simple 3D Printing settings and slicing.

Participants are advised to arrive on time, as allocated seats will be released to interested participants 10 minutes after the start of the workshop.

Attendance is free for this workshop. All materials will be provided free of charge.
Age Requirements
A minimum age of 13 is required for attending this activity.
This is due to the technical complexity of the workshop and hands-on dexterity needed for handling the materials.
Age Waiver
If parents are keen to register children that are younger than the age limit, please fill in the acknowledgement section in the registration form for special allowance for children aged 7-9. The children will also need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Children younger than 7 are not allowed to register for this specific workshop. Please check our Go Library website for other suitable activities for young children.
