Note: There are 2 sessions of the workshop on:
- Saturday, 10 February 2018, 1pm-3pm
- Sunday, 11 February 2018, 1pm-3pm.

Please sign up for only ONE session as the content is the same across both sessions.

First Line of Code Workshop is brought to you by Kodecoon to introduce your child to the world of programming using MIT-developed Scratch software. Scratch’s drag-and-drop programming will give your child the power to code their own animations and games and learn to be an active creator instead of passive consumer of technology.  Furthermore, with the micro:bit, which  is a tiny programmable computer, your child will be challenged to think out of the box to create innovative solutions to real-life problems.

This workshop will be held at Jurong Regional Library.

This programme is suitable for participants aged 7-12 years.

Participants are required to bring writing materials and a laptop.

Admission is free and registration is required at library e-kiosks or at http://nlb.gov.sg/golibrary.

A minimum of 4 pax is required to start the workshop.

Participants are advised to arrive on time, as allocated seats will be released to interested participants 10 minutes after the start of the workshop.
