[Arts Times] Art x Technology with Eugene Soh (DUDE.SG)

Programmer, photographer and artist, Eugene Soh, shares his creative process, his journey as an artist and the future of art in technology.

About the Speaker:
Eugene Soh a.k.a. DUDE.SG is a computer programming genius who accidentally became an artist when his photographic piece, contextualizing Da Vinci’s Last Supper in a local hawker centre setting, surfaced on social media. That discovery, with its tongue-in-cheek commentary on contemporary life in Singapore, catapulted him into the art world. With his background as a programmer and innate talent for art, Eugene’s latest work explores the new frontier of art melding with technology.

Arts Times is a bi-monthly series of curated programmes, editorial content and on-site displays, focused on encouraging arts literacy amongst library communities. Each issue shines the spotlight on local practitioners and explores topics where art and lifestyle intersect.
