Emotional Health: Finding Inner Peace | TOYL Celebration

   Clementi Public Library, Ask.Discover Corner

   02:00 PM - 05:30 PM

   Free Admission

Emotional well-being can be nurtured the same way we care for our physical health.

In today's world, it is easy to be caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There are so many sources of stimulation that we sometimes find it difficult to have opportunities for introspection and reflection.

In this workshop, we will take you through a discovery of your own emotions. Find out how you can take small moments every day to acknowledge, accept, and embrace your emotions in the journey to finding emotional fulfilment and peace.

  • Conducted by: Dr Hakim Young (Singapore)

About Time of Your Life Celebration 2022

Connections: Past, Present and Future

How can we make the journey of ageing a better one? By reconnecting to our past, examining our present, and striving towards the future, we will reimagine how this voyage can be made more gratifying. Join us to connect with gerontology experts and community partners as we delve into facets of ageing like caregiving, gerontechnology, lifelong learning, and physical and mental well-being.

Jointly brought to you by the National Library Board (NLB) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
