There are 2 highlights in my NS journey thus far: One was the first in-camp training where we started off as strangers and ended as great friends. The non-bookout policy and the frequent gathering at the mess certainly helped in the cohesion between the NSmen. Second highlight was the 7th ICT where we had our final ATEC exercise in Simpang. Though I already had a dry-run in my 6th year, it was only during the 7th year where I had to run the show as an RSM myself. More importantly, I was grateful to the many people who contributed to the success of our ICTs, when they went beyond their medical excuses and PES status to complete the work at hand.
