This enclave of colonial-era bungalows is a beautiful yet under-appreciated part of Singapore. I have fallen in love with them since I started spending Christmas holiday, there with my family. It is quiet, in a far-flung corner of the country. It is an anchor of stability in an ever-changing world and continues to appeal to quiet personalities who want a getaway in a heritage-themed corner at Singapore.
