I chose this picture because when I look at it, I remember all of my friends from different races and religion. In Singapore, all races unite to help our country to develop. Singapore is a racially harmonious nation and a society built on rich diversity of culture and heritage. Collected as part of the Orange Ribbon Celebrations 2012 for the "What's Your Story?" Photo Blurb Competition where Singaporeans document by way of photos what the pledge means to them. The Orange Ribbon Celebrations is a signature national event in July to celebrate Racial Harmony and is a focal point to promote understanding, appreciation and trust among Singapore's multi-racial and multi-religious society.
