My piano teacher, Mr Yip Kok Kheong, is the 1st teacher that told my mum that I had talent in music. He pushed me very hard and I achieved a distinction for my grade 8 piano exam. When he passed me my certificate, he told me to seriously consider a career in music. I followed his advice and have never regretted it.
