My wife and I boarded a flight to London before reaching Moscow in January 1970. It was a long flight, about 18 hours, stopping en-route at Bahrain. We spent a few days in London, shopping & sightseeing. When we arrived in Moscow, it was snowing heavily and the whole place was covered with snow! We stayed at Peking Hotel in Moscow and we went sight seeing in Moscow. It was a great city and the Kremlin was a great sight!
