My family have lived along Jalan Redop in Seletar Hills since 1966. At that time rubber trees grew behind our home. Then they were cut down to make way for the 'new' estate with roads like Kasai Road and Begonia Road. My friends and I loved to cycle along the undeveloped gravel paths and mud flats that looked like Mars. This was before the entire estate transformed to what it is today.
