Contributed by: Ji Yu Qing, 8, Bukit Timah Primary School Dear Grandfather, I want to tell you all about this wonderful trip I had, a trip to Night Safari of course. When I was reading my book the phone rang. I went to pick up the phone, it was my best friend Wan Ling! She told me that her father will bring her to Night Safari, great I said. Then she continued but my father has four more extra tickets! Would you come with us please pretty please? She asked OK I said but as long as my mother let me go, I said with a laugh. I will call you when I know if my mother let me go! Bye now call you later! After 5 minutes I called Wan Ling guess what I ask Wan Ling voice full of excitement what? She asked. I can go with you! But… but what? Ask Wan Ling but only my maid, grandma and Mr Grumpy Man must come along. Who is Mr Grumpy Man? Wan Ling ask me my brother of course! I gave him everything and still scream at me and scratch at me like a cat! Hah ha ha… Wan Ling laughs, so that is why you call him Mr Grumpy Man. So at 5 o’clock I finish packing my bags and at same time grandmother has finished packing little cupcakes. Of we go at seven sharp. I could no wait to see my best friend again! When I reached the Singapore Zoo I saw Wan Ling. She gave us 4 tickets for the Night Safari and we boarded the train. On the train we saw pigs, lions and lots of other animals.
