Memories linger on... The mid 1960s at Eu Tong Seng Street... where the bustling of protesters with the riot squad and tear gas flowing freely. My teary eyes often found it unbearable and the labour unrest was frequent. The tensions in the task of nation building gave us the strength in unity to sustain the progress and prosperity in the future of Singapore.
