Whenever I leave Singapore to go overseas, I have to pass by our own Changi Airport. A magnestic and grand representation of our nation and her achievements. It is not named one of the best ports in the world for no reason. That year, I was homesick and coming back was a relief for me. I felt really proud of our nation and our government's efforts to keep this place we call home safe and I could not help but recall all that Singapore had overcome to be where it stands internationally today.
