It was a regular day in the year 2012. I was sitting in class in the old block of the ACS (I) Independent and the most charming girl walked in. I took her out to a date in Fusionpolis, then in construction. We ate at a little restaurant called the Soup Spoon. Little did I know that the girl would be my wife, 4 years later. The food we had, I will never forget, a single slice of chocolate cake and a cup of hot chocolate. The aroma, the atmosphere & sitting with the girl; all of it happened in Singapore for me. The very Singapore you and us live in. (Memory collected at the Central Public Library during "The Singapore Story: My Heart, My Hope, My Home" campaign from 6 Sep to 31 Dec 2012)
