My father is an independent boy since he was young . Born in 1968, my dad was the first child in the family.My dad used to live in a 1 room flat in Ang Mo Kio. Being the oldest in the family , my dad has to help my grandfather in his business, painting houses.At the age of 7 , my dad started working for my grandfather.Not only was my dad independent, he is also a very dilligent person. Whenever he has time, he would read his textbook and revise, which was rare since he is always helping out with household chores and working for my grandpa. my dad cherishes his education , unlike us kids in the 21st century who take education for granted and complain all day long.
