I used to visit this place when I lived near Simei in the 90s.. It was call Simpang Bedok then, and I liked the Malay foods there. The market has been redeveloped and it is now called the Bedok Marketplace. The shop houses around the market remain very much the same. I still get this nostalgic feel when I drive pass the area. Both the shop houses and the food court have many stalls serving different kind of food, from Malay, Indian, Chinese to Western etc. On a side note, it is interesting to see a Volkswagen Beetle display there in the food court on the second level of the marketplace.
