I moved to the East from Jurong when I was 11 years old. I didn't know anybody and the area around my school (Temasek Primary) was 'foreign' to me. Despite only spending 2 years in the school, this was where I spent the most memorable years of school life with new friends I never expected to make so quickly. Bedok Interchange was where we spent or time together before er headed home shopping, eating, and just enjoying each others' company. (Collected from HDB for SG Heart Map, an SG50 signature programme)
