As I was staying just opposite Haw Par Villa from 2003 to 2009, my family and I used to be able to walk over to Haw Par Villa to admire the different statues from the various Chinese myths and fables. As a child, I would usually like to feed the turtles in the ponds just outside the temple coffee shop. (Collected from HDB for SG Heart Map, an SG50 signature programme)
