As my school was opposite the Bras Basah Complex, I used to hang out there with my classmates after class and after CCA on Saturdays. We would go to the Popular Book Shop to flip through magazines and shop for assessment books as well as stationeries. Thereafter, we would get a bite at McDonald's. Those were the carefree school days. No tuition and no enrichment classes after school.
