I was 11 years old when I came back from Malaysia. The year was 1956. My parents admitted me to a Seven days Adventist School located at Potong Pasir facing Upper Serangoon. At that time due to my Malaysia Education I was demoted to Primary 2. After studied 2 1/2 years, I could not afford to pay fee for 3 months as my parents were poor then. I was asked to leave school because no money means no school. The teacher at that time had no sympathy. As a result I was deprived from my right to study.
