When I was in secondary school, I was an extremely brilliant and gifted student. My teachers only paid attention to my academic development. As such I suffered and still suffer from a lack of morals and ethics. I wish my teachers had instilled in me the right values as this would have made me a better person today. I now understand the importance of 'nurturing the whole child'...after counting steel bars for the past 3 years.
