My most vivid memory of celebrating national day was when I went to watch the NDP for the first and last time at the old National Stadium. I remember the show being spectacular, with acrobatic performances and as an eight year old child then, I was very amazed. My greatest excitement was receiving my NDP fun pack because I was told that there was many free food inside. I kept that fun pack bag for many years.
