Information About

I think that a bowl of minestrone soup best represents the Singapore Spirit. Singapore is a melting pot of cultures, and it is a living example of how people of different races and religions can coexist in a peaeful and prosperous environment. The variety of ingredients used in the soup represents the distinct and unique cultures that we can find in Singapore, and the clear soup hence is the invisible Singapore Spirit that bonds all Singaporeans together, young or old, rich or poor. The presence of the colour red signifies the brotherhood that all of us share, since we all have the same Singaporean blood flowing through our veins. Our strong and responsible PAP government provides support and gives our society and economy a powerful backbone so that us citizens have little to worry about. This is represented by the bowl which contains the soup and prevents the contents from spilling. Lastly, the layer of oil symbolises the SAF, which is always at the frontline protecting Singapore and keeping the Singapore spirit fresh and warm.
