My favourite memory of Chinese New Year is having reunion dinner. 记得每年的年夜饭，父亲不想我们花钱，总是不要出去用餐。母亲也总是忙着煮、洗。我们说好要帮洗碗碟，但母亲总是一边煮、一边洗锅，吃饭总是第一个很快吃完去厨房洗碗碟，一边洗、一边等着更多的碗碟。父母亲就是这么疼爱我们。 (Memory collected at the Toa Payoh Public Library during the "irememberChineseNewYear" campaign from 14 Jan 2013 - 26 Feb 2013)
