I went to Malaysia with my family sometime in December 1972. My eldest son drove a car and there were 6 of us, including my wife, my daughter-in-law and 2 grand children. All the way we drove up to Kuala Lumpur with a few stops along the way. It was a long and smooth journey and we saw a lot of palm oil plantations along the North-South Highway!
