1968 National Day parade at Padang in School Air Cadet contingent was something I never forget. After many months of training we were in Padang when President YUSOF take the salute, the very heavy rain started. Remember the rain drop hit my face was slightly painful, but no one move or leave the parade. We started the long march all the way to New Town Secondary School, near to Commonwealth MRT station.
