I remember when I first stepped into the school- the first day in primary 1. I was full of apprehensive but was all excited at the same time. It was at Damai Primary School where I began my foundation years. What was unique in the school at that time, was the "freeze" moment. The first bell after the recess. Everyone has to freeze while waiting for the second one to go off. It was very funny at that time. As my daughter started her own journey in primary 1 this year. I cant help but recall those years where I had to "freeze" @ recess time :) (Memory collected at the Queenstown Public Library during "The Singapore Story: My Heart, My Hope, My home" campaign from 6 Sep to 31 Dec 2012)
