1960s My father worked for the Port of Singapore Authority as warehouse supervisor in the 1960s. One night he worked very late and was the last person to leave his warehouse. Before he left, he splashed some water on the floor. Before he knew it, he heard a very loud booming voice laughing very eerily. My father was very frightened. He quickly switched off all the lights in the warehouse and left riding his bicycle. From that day onwards he make sure to leave with everyone. Never stayed back after that incident.
