Traditional Games Congkak is a game that can be play in internal activities or a competition. It made up of a hollow wooden board. It usually used rubber seeds or marbles to play. These game involving counting and has advantage of an efficient accumulate points. In a row of seven holes known as “Village” and at the both end is “Home”. Only two players required and position facing each other. To start the game, seven marbles or rubber seeds are placed in every village and home has to be empty. Batu Seremban known as “Five Stone”. In old times, Girls loves to play this game and usually played in their leisure time. These games are testing your balancing skills and rhythm to sustain the pyramid-shaped bags in their hand. The little cloth bags are usually filled with Saga Seeds, Beans, Rice or Sand. The game starts from throwing and catching one bag to five bags and the game gets more thrilling after each other. It can be played in a group and players have to sit on the floor so it easier to play. Gasing known as “Spinning Top”. This game can rotate on its axis, while balancing on a point. In old times, it plays in contested between villages. It can be played in a group and player’s spinning top in the longest time, it is the winner. Capteh known as “Kick Little Shuttlecock”. It is traditional Asian game and played by young boys. It using only feet and other parts of body (except hands), player had to keep this heavily weight “shuttlecock” in the air. Guli known as “Marbles”. It made up of glass, clay, steel or agate. It usually played by boys aged between seven years and above. Number of players does not exceed five. The game involves drawing a circle in sand and players will take turns knocking other player’s marbles out of the circle with their own marble. These marbles can be used in other games, such as Congkak. Ye-ye known as “Zero Point”. This game is similar like skipping rope. It is a game played with a long rope made of elastic bands strung together and rubber rope is being flip in an up-down motion rapidly. Minimum 3 players are required, 2 player hold the rope at both end and the other player will jump over it. The aim of this game is to find the Best Jumper. No part of the body should touch the rope and if it happens, the next player starts. Lastik known as “Slingshots”. It is a weapon that uses small stone or crashed paper by hand. It consisting of Y-shaped frame with two rubber strips attached to the two upper frame. The left hand hold the handle and the other hand will pulled back to produce enough power to throw. TingTing is known as “Hopscotch”. It usually played by children which they hop into a series of squares drawn on the ground. In old times, they not use brand telephone like now. They used Tin Can Telephone. Is a type of mechanical acoustic device transmitting spoken. It can be made of tin cans or paper cups and attached at the bottom of tin can either string or wire. Kuti Kuti is a game in which two opposing players take turn to flip colourful plastic tokens on top of those of their opponent. If it lands, the player claims the opponent’s token as his own. It required skills and accuracy. It made up of brightly coloured transparent plastic shaped as animals or object.
