I remember the first time I'd ever been the Singapore's iconic island when I was just 4 years-old. Sentosa, to me is the best place in Singapore. The cable car, the monorail, the beaches. It was as if I was on a holiday to somewhere far away. At my age at that time, the old monorail was indeed fascinating, being able to bring me to every location on the island, while still enabling me to feel the cool breeze. The old monorail would go through twists and turns and eventually a huge structure would come into view - the Merlion. I still remembered the feeling of having the feeling that I was on top of the world. I never wanted to leave Sentosa. Singapore is a small city with full of great places and vibrant cultures. Sentosa being only one of the many. I love my Singapore. : ) (Memory collected at the Public Libraries during "The Singapore Story: My Heart, My Hope, My Home" campaign from 6 Sep to 31 Dec 2012)
