I can't remember the exact moment my parents told me that I was going to have a sister. When I was young, I did not have a strong preference for having a sibling of either gender. I do remember seeing my mother's belly grow bigger and being more curious about how it was like inside. There was an unforgettable moment about that pregnancy. I was 6 years old. It was at night when I hugged my mother before I slept. However, I accidentally slipped on the mattress and hugged her abit harder than usual. I was scared that I hurt the baby that I continued crying even after my mum told me that it was alright. Thankfully, it was really alright.
