I remembered that MENDAKI provides tuition and bursery to the Malay Muslim community. I came to MENDAKI was by chance, as a temporary staff doing data entry for MENDAKI Tuition Scheme (MTS). After my delivery of my second child, HR called to offer a permanent position as an executive officer at Education Department. There were some challenges as I was from the tourism industry and never done administrative matter. Over time, I realised that MENDAKI does more that just providing tuition. At my department, I provide or plan programmes for beneficiaries. I work closely with partners from the museum, science centre and providers that conduct enrichment programmes. Not only do I get my monthly salary but also the satisfaction by making those families happy.
