I studied in River Valley English School in 1978-1984. I also studied in Monk’s Hill Secondary School in 1985-1989. On the first day of school, I was feeling very excited, curious and interested in school. My favourite subject is Mathematics as I am better in it. The teacher who taught me Mathematics is Ms Kanu. My favourite teacher is Mrs Ang, my Chinese teacher. She is very kind and caring and she helps me a lot in my weak points and when I am having difficulties in doing something. My fondest memory is the time when I got into the basketball school team. I once remembered that I had received a bronze medal and I was very happy. The basketball team had also won the Track and Field 4x100m and Cross Country in the 1st place. We had also won the Inter-Class in the 2nd place. Apart from receiving awards from playing basketball matches, I am very satisfied as I score 100 marks for my PSLE in my Mathematics. During these days, I was elated. My best friends are Xin Shun, De Qiang, Xiu Ling and Hui Ting. During school days, we always play and study together. Until now, we still keep in touch and meet each other often. My happiest memory is during the last day of school because I do not need to come to school and study again.
