My mother was born in Singapore at KK Hospital. Her childhood days were spent in a one room rented hdb flat with her parents and two siblings. Although life was hard and poor, my mother had extremely fun and memorable childhood days. Played with cousins and neighbourhood kids all sorts of outdoor and indoor games. Her school was Holy Innocents' Primary School. She enjoyed being a school librarian helping out on loans and returns of books from students. Also reading her favourite story books. Her proudest moment in life was getting married to a caring, loving husband and gave birth to me, Amelia :)
