I remember quaint black and white colonial shophouses known as "Sussex Estate?" which was torn down to be the current empty field next to Nan Hua High school. I remember visiting the vet for the first time. I remember lush greenery and feeling like this was a special place in Singapore. Now it is gone. It is forgotten. Just like how our children will forget the names of the condos we live in. Just like this empty field.
