I used to live right across the ECP from the East Coast McDonald's branch and I have many fond memories of the place. Whether it was to escape from the pressures of work or to seek late-night sustenance or to find a place with free air conditioning and WiFi (I didn't have WiFi at home at the time), I remember having spent no small number of hours at the McDonald's branch at East Coast Park. It was, for me, where I learnt to cycle, studied for my GCSE 'O' Levels and had breakfast on a Sunday morning.
