Information About

Mr Siva went to St Joseph's Institution and used to be a runner for the school. He has been very close with his school mates and they meet up annually for a reunion even after having their own children and grandchildren. His grandparents were originally from India but settled down in Malaysia where they had his parents. His parents first met each other in Malaysia and then moved to Singapore after they got married. As his grandparents were relatively well-to-do, they could afford to send his parents to school and so did he. However, during Mr Siva's dating days, the Singapore government came up with the Eugenics programme which was not well received by the people. His friends used to complain about the system because they were not allowed the basic rights of procreation as their wives were not graduates. Thankfully this programme was not put in place for long. There were very few graduates back then. Someone would be considered highly educated even with a Pre-U qualification.
